摘要: Abstract This study deals with both the chronology and evolution of heavy metal pollution marine sediments from bays Nice Villefranche. Geochemical analyses were restricted to grain fractions < 63 μm. The rates sedimentation are based on isotopic measurements (Cs‐137, Pb‐210). On continental shelf, rate shows figures between 0.6 2.2 mm per year. In deeper zones bay (∼800 m), is approximately 1 level contamination sensitive in our cores 1900 it raises significantly since decage 1950–60. bays, growing concentrations Hg, Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn surface due increase pollution, not an upward migration these metals sedimentary column.
