摘要: A natural phosphate rock and two synthetic mesoporous hydroxyapatites were evaluated for the removal of pyridine phenol from aqueous solutions. Experiments performed by batch method showed that sorption process occurs a first order reaction both phenol. In contrast, Freundlich model was able to describe isotherms but not pyridine. parallel, three apatites exhibit similar capacities whereas loading in agreement with their respective specific surface area. This attributed strong interaction arising between apatite hinders further inter-particular diffusion. study suggests that, despite its low area, may be used as an efficient sorbent material organic pollutants, comparable efficiency lower processing costs than some activated carbons.
