摘要: Earth-scale convergence systems comprise dynamic, complex, and interrelated environmental systems, energy production consumption man-made technological such as telecommunications various metropolitan agricultural infrastructure systems. This chapter views from five viewpoints: knowledge monitoring communication management tools, other contributing technologies, including robotics. Ideally, convergence-based solutions to problems can be found that do not have serious political, social, or economic repercussions, but it is far more likely difficult tradeoffs will made in decision-making at local, national, international levels. Sustainability an increasingly important concept being incorporated into society’s thinking about problems. Improving data modeling capabilities, (including spaced-based) collaboration tools critical.
