摘要: Epidural Stimulation was used to treat 16 patients with brachial plexus lesion pain, 13 secondary trauma, 2 metastatic disease, and 1 radiation plexopathy. Only obtained good pain relief, fair, the remainder poor. Permanent implantation performed in 8 an average follow-up of 56 months. Of this group 11 had cervical nerve root avulsion whom but all poor results. A second treated thalamic sensory nucleus Stimulation. By therapy excellent results, good, 3 poor; 7 received definitive 21 Based on experience trials epidural are unwarranted. Thalamic is a potential, non-ablative, low-risk for intractable pain.
