摘要: Soil denitrification in reservoir shoreline wetlands is an important process for remov- ing excess inorganic nitrogen from upland runoff and controlling eutrophication aquatic ecosystems. As yet, little known about the influence of vegetation characteristics on soil potential wetlands, although can affect both denitrifying bacteria properties. In this study, we measured spatial variability enzyme activity (DEA) using acetylene block method Danjiangkou Reservoir, a water source South-to-North Water Transfer Project China. Results indicated that DEA ranged 0.001 to 2.449 μg N (N 2 O) g -1 h , with mean 0.384 . varied significantly among five representative plant communities highest (0.248-2.449 ) was observed Polygonum hydropiper community. Plant biomass cover were positively related together explained 44.2% total variance. These results suggest should also be considered assessing capacity restoring pollution removal Reservoir after dam heightening.
