摘要: Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) is one of various management tools for evaluating environmental concerns. This paper reviews LCA from a buildings perspective. It highlights the need its use within building sector, and importance as decision making support tool. discusses methodologies applications reviewing some life-cycle studies applied to or materials component combinations last fifteen years in Europe United States. problems lack an internationally comparable agreed data inventory assessment methodology which hinder application industry. identifies key areas future research (i) whole process construction, (ii) relative weighting different impacts (iii) developing countries.
