摘要: The effects of gestational exposure to the commonly used organophosphorus insecticide chlorpyrifos (O,O-diethyl O-[3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinyl]phosphorothioate) on postnatal central and peripheral cholinergic neurochemistry were investigated. Pregnant rats orally dosed daily with (0, 3, 5, or 7 mg/kg) in corn oil from gestation day 6 20. Pups sacrificed days 1, 6, 9, 12 for determination brain, heart, lung, serum cholinesterase, brain choline acetyltransferase activities, along liver carboxylesterase activity. Exposure did not produce signs overt toxicity dams developing offspring. Cholinesterase activities inhibited a dose-related manner, cholin-esterase inhibition about 26%, 32%, 45% 1.
