Physico-chemical studies on some saccharides in aqueous cellulose solutions at different temperatures – Acoustical and FTIR analysis

摘要: Abstract The ultrasonic velocity ( u ), density ρ ) and viscosity η of Fructose, Lactose Sucrose in 0.4 M Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) solutions have been investigated at 303, 313 323 K, respectively. acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility β intermolecular free length L f internal pressure π i Rao’s constant R a relaxation time τ impedance Z absorption coefficient α / 2 volume V cohesive energy (CE) solvation number S n computed. non linear variations with concentration temperature indicated the existence strong molecular interaction systems studied. FTIR spectroscopic analysis revealed possibility hydrogen bonding various saccharides.
