摘要: On the occasion of inaugural issue Decolonization: Indigeneity, Education & Society, we examine many contradictions, contestations and possible pathways to decolonization. In working explore themes that articles in this bring forth, recognize that, despite our certainty decolonization centers Indigenous methods, peoples, lands, future is a ‘tangible unknown’, constant (re)negotiating power, place, identity sovereignty. these contestations, Indigeneity are not merely reactionary nor binary relationship with colonial power. Decolonization indeed oppositional ways thinking acting but demands an starting point articulation what means for peoples around globe. This editorial works towards possibility global movement strengthens supports local moments decolonization, does so by exploring some layers questions necessarily entails.
