摘要: The purpose of the present study was to develop an osmotic drug delivery system for a Gliclazide by using asymmetric membrane technology (AMT). In study, tablets were formulated ethyl cellulose and chitosan as forming polymers. nature coat confirmed scanning electron microscopy. evaluated various parameters like average weight, hardness, friability, assay release. A zero order release achieved in dissolution it established that rates unaffected pH medium speed agitation. coated AMT delivered efficient about 20 hrs without any pharmacopoeial non-compliance. It also observed level osmogen, coating polymer pore former AM formulation emerged significant factors designing AMT. plasticizer quenching time however did not have effect on outcomes. gliclazide sustained manner eight hours. results showed actual predicted values optimized formulation, according desired response, are near Taguchi design can successfully predict best conditions fabricating modified delivery.
