摘要: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP or KH2PO4) crystal is widely used as terminal frequency converters in inertial confinement fusion (ICF). However, KDP a typical difficult-to-cut optical with the characteristic of soft-brittle. In this work, relationship between cutting force and processed surface quality micro ball end-milling various depth cut spindle speed studied by carried out micro-milling experiments. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm to diagnose recorded force. The periodic change after filtering noises can be got through FFT analysis. Through calculating correlation coefficients static component thrust roughness value Ra machined grooves, well peak-valley (P-V) dimensional error grooves would predicted monitoring P-V force, respectively. relatively large helps reduce Ra. moderate recommended groove because will increase when small enough (causing brittle cutting) (reducing stability).
