摘要: There is a significant evidence base for the Diabetes Prevention Program, lifestyle intervention to prevent onset of type 2 diabetes among high-risk individuals; however, translation this men has been challenging. This report presents outcomes pilot study an adapted 16-week prevention program entitled " Power Up Health." The goal was better engage color with prediabetes from disadvantaged neighborhoods New York City. It implemented at five different recreation centers located in predominantly low-income across curriculum facilitated by male coaches only; one group conducted Spanish.
