摘要: We describe ER-HR3, a monoclonal antibody directed against bone marrow-derived haemopoietic reticulum cells. ER-HR3-positive cells have the electronmicroscopic and enzyme-histochemical characteristics of macrophages. Additionally, they are able to phagocytoze. The ER-HR3 antigen is expressed by majority blood monocytes present on subpopulation resident macrophages in multiple organs. abundant marrow, splenic red pulp, mesenteric lymphoid paracortex interfollicular areas Peyer's patch. Few been observed thymic cortex connective tissues gastro-intestinal tract, dermis renal medulla. Moreover, epidermal Langerhans express antigen. No cross-reactivity with other cell types has found. It concluded that unique distribution pattern distinct from macrophage-specific antibodies.
