摘要: Essentially, there are two overarching demand management strategies employed to achieve efficient water consumption in the residential sector. These are: targeting use behaviour change ("mind") and promoting of water-efficient technologies ("machine"). Using detailed end-use data qualitative methods, this paper describes role that each these has played over last few years, using from 250 properties located south-east corner Queensland. The technology (e.g. low-flow shower heads, 4-star-rated clothes-washers) reducing potable will be compared with importance attitudes behaviours conservation. Results indicate how we value (psycho-social variables) interact fixtures is at least as important home quality quantity stock. concludes some suggestions on such study outcomes can relevant future approaches.
