摘要: Compared to ion pumps and carriers, channels have been quite late recognised as individual transport identities in red blood cells. Here the transition from cell population based flux experiments single patch-clamp investigations are described detail. The present knowledge of cation cells their molecular identity electrophysiological properties summarised. Tendencies novel concepts for future research concerning ion-transport across membrane discussed.
