摘要: The Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellites provide observations of water storage variation at regional scales. However, when focusing on a region interest, limited spatial resolution noise contamination can cause estimation bias leakage, problems that are exacerbated as the interest approaches GRACE limit few hundred km. Reliable estimates variations in small basins require compromises between competing needs for suppression resolution. objective this study was to quantitatively investigate processing methods their impacts bias, reduction, estimated total error, allowing solution trade-offs. Among tested is recently developed concentration algorithm called spatiospectral localization, which optimizes basin shape description, taking into account This method particularly suited retrieval basin-scale effective basins. To increase confidence derived methods, were calculated both CSR (Center Space Research) GRGS (Groupe de Recherche Geodesie Spatiale) products, employ different strategies. techniques intensively monitored High Plains Aquifer (450,000 km2 area), where application appropriate optimal allowed over portion aquifer ˜200,000 km2.
