Three-Dimensional Hysterosonography for the Study of Endometrial Tumors: Comparison with Conventional Transvaginal Sonography, Hysterosalpingography, and Hysteroscopy

摘要: We studied endometrial thickness and homogeneity in 36 patients with postmenopausal bleeding using three-dimensional ultrasound following distention of the uterine cavity a sterile saline solution (3D-SHSG). Results 3D-SHSG were compared findings transvaginal sonography, sonohysterography, color Doppler, hysteroscopy. Sixteen (including three on tamoxifen) undergoing hormone therapy at time when they studied. Visualization was better than any other techniques. The results corresponded to observed Three-dimensional SHSG seems improve determination myometrial cervical invasion cases adenocarcinoma.
