摘要: The occurrence of emerging organic micropollutants (OMPs) in sewage sludge has been widely reported; nevertheless, their fate during treatment remains unclear. objective this work was to study the OMPs mesophilic and thermophilic anaerobic digestion (AD), most common processes used for stabilization, by using raw without spiking OMPs. Moreover, results analytical chemistry were complemented with biological assays order verify possible adverse effects (estrogenic genotoxic) on environment human health view an agricultural (re)use digested sludge. Musk fragrances (AHTN, HHCB), ibuprofen (IBP) triclosan (TCS) abundant compounds detected In general, efficiency AD process not dependent operational parameters but compound-specific: some highly biotransformed (e.g. sulfamethoxazole naproxen), while others only slightly affected IBP TCS) or even unaltered AHTN HHCB). MCF-7 assay evidenced that estrogenicity removal driven temperature. Ames test did show point mutation Salmonella typhimurium Comet exhibited a genotoxic effect leukocytes attenuated AD. This highlights importance combining chemical analysis activities establish appropriate strategies safer disposal Actually, it demonstrated temperature insignificant disappearance parent is crucial decrease estrogenicity.
