摘要: Abstract One hundred and eighteen patients with acute falciparum malaria were randomized into treatment either intramuscular or oral sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (Fansidar®, Roche) the results compared those from 68 treated in parallel chloroquine. Parasitological cure rate was 97% sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine, 95% injection, only 63% The time for disappearance of parasitaemia sensitive cases same shorter than Side effects occurred 3 8 tablets 13 showed that is as effective as, probably better tolerated than, drug. Increasing failure response to chloroquine Nigeria also demonstrated.
