Mechanical behavior and void coalescence analysis of cryorolled AA8090 alloy

摘要: Aluminum lithium alloy was rolled at two different temperatures, viz., 28 °C (301 K) and −196 (77 K). The thickness of the reduced by 75 % from its initial (6 mm) in each condition. X-ray diffraction analysis carried out on all samples to determine grain size dislocation density. cryorolled sample exhibited a finer with higher density, which evidenced micrographs obtained transmission electron microscopy. Electron backscattered images revealed presence bimodal distribution samples, larger amount ultrafine grains. Both tensile hardness tests were performed samples. Cryorolled showed superior properties when comparing room temperature sample. Scanning microscopic fractured used analyze void coalescence behavior. various parameters like size, area, length width ratio void, ligament analyzed, these results correlated microstructure, mechanical properties, crystallite density conditions.
