摘要: This study was undertaken to determine whether the incidence of lower limb overuse injuries (LLOIs) sustained during Royal Marine training could be reduced by issuing recruits with shock-absorbing insoles (SAIs) wear in their military boots. a retrospective longitudinal trial conducted two phases. Injury data from 1,416 issued standard Saran and 1,338 SAI were compared. The groups similar height, body mass, aerobic fitness followed same course. LLOI (p < 0.05) Group (19.0%) compared Insole (31.7%). incidences stress fractures, tibial periostitis, tenosynovitis foot, achilles tendonopathy, other tendonopathy anterior knee pain Group. Tibial fracture but metatarsal femoral for insole groups. Thus, SAIs undertaking sustained, arduous physical program high would provide beneficial reduction LLOI.
