摘要: The distribution of two repetitive DNA probes Sat-121 and PB6-4, specific for the section Procumbentes genus Beta, was tested in 16 B. patellaris monosomic addition families using a dot-blot hybridization procedure. All additions were accurately distinguished from diploid sib plants with both probes. probe strongest signal after hybridization, selected rapid screening an extensive number putative or procumbens squash-blot PB6-4 detected 118 640 (18.4%) eight different families. family chromosome 4 semi-lethal could not be tested. confirmed 63 In 4580 these families, 628 individual (13.7%) found. relationship morphological characteristics to results (plants signal) is quite rigorous but complete. correlation between (2n=19) These indicate that sequences present on are probably all chromosomes procumbens. possibility utilizing sequence information PCR-based assay screen also investigated as alternative counting. DNA-amplification profiles primers REP REP.INV clearly their sibs.
