摘要: The adenoviruses have long been recognized as providing a convenient model system for studying eukaryotic gene expression and its regulation. Advances over the last few years reinforced this position; number of features were first discovered in adenovirus system, RNA splicing being classic example. Some principal that make so attractive are: (1) ease by which can be grown purified large amounts. (2) complex, temporal regulation expression; different viral genes are expressed at times productive infection (1, 2). (3) complete sequence Adenovirus type 2 (Ad2) is known. In addition there significant information on other serotypes (3, 4). Cloned manipulated vitro subsequently incorporated into an intact, infectious genome.
