Low Temperature Synthesis of Eu-Doped Cubic Phase BaAl2S4 Blue Phosphor Using H3BO3 or B2O3 Flux

摘要: A H 3 BO or B 2 O flux was added to a mixture of BaS, EuS, Al, and S synthesize Eu-doped cubic BaAl 4 phosphor. The formation temperature the phase lowered 600°C, which 60°C below case without flux. To improve crystallinity color purity, two-step annealing process that involved low (130°C for 400°C ) proposed uniform immersion into starting high (600°C) . phosphor synthesized by with wt % showed distinct strong photoluminescence (PL) intensity at 475 nm. PL 6.6 times stronger than only an orthorhombic phase, while direct 600° phases. role fluxes in mechanism phases described.
