摘要: Retrogradation of amorphous thermoplastic starch (TPS) films obtained by compression molding spray dried modified potato was investigated. The aim to investigate the influence plasticizers with similar molecular weight but different functionality, i.e., isoleucine, asparagine and malic acid, on properties plasticized powder TPS films. Combinations acid glycerol, urea, maltodextrin were also evaluated. Except for isoleucine formulated starch, all samples as powders Malic identified a strong antiretrogradation agent it inhibited recrystallization over full range humidity levels. found inhibit retrogradation formulations containing glycerol maltodextrin. converse inhibition implied moisture absorption high strain at break values, low tensile strengths. potential crosslinking control swelling starch-based products. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
