摘要: In this article, a series of oxidized pea starch/chitosan (OPS/CS) blend films were prepared by casting and solvent evaporation method. The structure, thermal behavior, mechanical properties the investigated means Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, tensile testing. results suggested that, in addition to hydrogen bonding, interactions between OPS CS molecules enhanced formation electrostatic interaction negatively charged carboxyl groups on positively amino CS. Compared with (PS/CS) films, OPS/CS exhibited significantly higher strength lower elongation at break. Moreover, incorporation into matrix also led decrease moisture uptake composite film. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci,
