摘要: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is one of the most common sites for biliary tract cancers. It has a worldwide distribution being endemic in South America and Southern Asia. These high GBC rates have previously been linked to determinants health such as nutrition, genetics, lifestyle, environment. Exposure aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), human carcinogen, suggested be involved with development. This work aims analyse interplay social, genetic predisposing factors GBC. AFB1 plays pivotal role carcinogenic onset by epigenetic modifications. can induce molecular changes pathogenesis, overexpression UCHL1 gene, mutagenesis TP53 abnormal expression oncogenes BCL-2, aberrantly methylation ERBB family receptors. However, large-scale scientific cooperation needed confirm these links through which may increase risk. For that, monitoring exposure AF-albumin AFB1-lysine will clarify level population hotspot. Further, analyses AFB1-adduct concentrations cases (fatal non-fatal) are understanding if AF contamination trigger gallbladder cancer.
