摘要: Abstract Because of China’s rapid economic development, its transportation system has become one high-energy-consumption and high-pollution-emission sectors. However, little research been done which pays close attention to system, especially in terms energy environmental efficiency evaluation. In this paper, data envelopment analysis (DEA) is applied measure the environment performance systems China with goal sustainable development. This paper treats as a parallel consisting subsystems for passenger freight transportation, extends DEA approach evaluate each subsystem. An decomposition procedure proposed obtain highest achievable subsystem efficiency. Our empirical study on 30 mainland provincial-level regions shows that most them have low their two subsystems. There are large differences between addition, unbalanced development occurred three areas China, east having efficiency, followed by central then west. Therefore, more measures should be taken balance coordinate within them. gives determining effective measures.
