摘要: Clinical epidemiology is defined as a method for investigating the distribution and determinants of diseases applying this knowledge in their prevention, simply means application epidemiological methods medical research. In evidence-based medicine, randomized controlled trials (RCT) are gold standard assessing efficacy safety intervention, while it commonly impractical because many limitations, such ethical/legal problems weak external-validity. High internal-validity RCT permits to assess direct intervention without interference with bias confounder; however, has less generalizability or applicability real-life practice. Evidence-based practical guidelines developed patient management decision making practice; paradoxically, evidence does not come from real life, but strict trial life. To overcome these pragmatic clinical effectiveness practice high-quality observational studies would be best alternatives could add more strong evidence. This article provides an overview clinicoepidemiological research designs field childhood allergic strength/weakness. (Allergy Asthma Respir Dis 2016;4:91-99)
