摘要: Flood damages are usually concentrated along certain reaches of the main watercourse. However, a successful flood-control project must look beyond damaged by studying contribution headwater subwatersheds to flood magnitude at downstream locations. Flood-control measures may then be initially planned in identified tributary areas watershed that strongly affect peak river reaches. A simple iterative simulation technique is introduced, whereby each subwatershed unit or group units response can disaggregated. index assigned contributing determine change outlet discharge caused removal unit. The similar approach groundwater studies. proposed applied watershed; and effect such different factors as design return period, storm duration, size subunits examined. interpretation results based particularly on corresponding per area subwatersheds.
