摘要: In free-living organisms, including Escherichia coli , DNA replication starts at origins. E. contains a single origin ( oriC ), which serves as the site for assembly of replisome, multi-protein molecular machine that duplicates circular duplex genome. Replisome is highly regulated event strictly coordinated with cell cycle. This article reviews mechanism replisome origin.
