摘要: The courtship of 5 jacks was evaluated weekly for 12 mo. characteristics sexual behavior were recorded before the collection 2 ejaculates, at 4-h intervals, into an artificial vagina in presence a female either natural or induced estrus. maximum time given to jack perform ejaculatory mount 1 h. If did not ejaculate, another attempt made following week. At collection, male and remained free paddock (20 m2). data presented this study is based on results which first second ejaculates occurred successively. Statistical analysis done by x factorial design randomized blocks. mean +/- SEM ejaculate were, respectively: until = 0.7 0.2 0.9 min; erection 11.9 1.1 11.6 ejaculation 15.0 1.2 13.6 frequency partial exposure penis 3.4 0.4 3.2 0.4; total 1.0 + 0.2; flehmen responses 6.6 0.5 4.6 +/-0.5; erections 1.3 0.1 0.1; retreats away from 1.8 mounts with but without 0.3 2.0 +/-0.1 ; pelvic copulatory movements 4.8 4.4 0.4. Individual differences observed (P<0.05) exposure, responses, movements. variables showed significant between ejaculates. Seasonal effects found. However, monthly effect noted penis, erection, when combined.
