摘要: Angiotensin II (Ang II), the major effector hormone of renin-angiotensin system (RAS), has an important role in regulation vascular and renal homeostasis. Clinical pharmacological studies have recently shown that Ang is a critical promoter insulin resistance diabetes mellitus type 2. exerts its actions on insulin-sensitive tissues such as liver, muscle adipose tissue where it effects receptor (IR), substrate (IRS) proteins downstream effectors PI3K, Akt GLUT4. The molecular mechanisms involved not been completely identified, but serine/threonine phosphorylation IR IRS-1 desensitization action well established. purpose this review to highlight recent advances understanding which lead development implications for diabetes.
