摘要: ABSTRACTThe developmental toxicity of five cornounds was evaluated with the Frog Embryo Teratogenesis Assay: Xenopus (FETAX) and results were compared to mammalian literature. Small cell laevis blastulae exposed ascorbic acid, sodium selenate, coumarin, serotonin 13–cis retinoic acid for 96 hr. Three separate static-renewal assays conducted each compound. Teratogenic potential test materials determined based on Index values [TI = LCSO/ECSO (malformation)], types severity induced malformations embryo growth. Ascorbic had little or no teratogenic potential. Sodium selenate coumarin tested as having moderately positive Serotonin scored strong Results consistent data support use FETAX screening toxicants.
