摘要: Abstract The effects of ascorbic acid, as an exogenous antioxidant, on selenium (Se) teratogenicity were examined using rat embryo culture. Rat embryos at day 9.5 gestation cultured for 48 h in the presence sodium selenite 10 and 20 μM or selenate 30 100 with without addition 1 mM l -ascorbic acid (AsA). Selenite alone increased incidence embryonic malformation. With AsA, selenite-induced malformation was increased. On contrary, selenate-induced decreased AsA. It considered from these results that redox states environment Se are critical teratogenicity.
