摘要: The cytoskeleton of Trypanosoma brucei has been analyzed by the high-resolution technique quick-freeze deep-etch rotary-shadowing electron microscopy. study provides detailed structural information on subpellicular array microtubules, flagellum, and interaction these 2 major structures trypanosomal with each other. microtubules closely interact both cell membrane At anterior tip they converge into a tightly closed structure, whereas at posterior end microtubular remains open ended. is involved also in forming opening flagellar pocket. interacts paraflagellar rod flagellum through dense meshwork fibers that are anchored surface one within structure highly ordered, 3-dimensional network itself connected to axoneme regular fleur-de-lis-shaped linking structures.
