摘要: To test the hypothesis that herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) may be associated with peptic ulcer disease, we examined ulcerative lesions of distal stomach and proximal duodenum for presence nucleic acids antibodies specific HSV-1. Utilizing in situ hybridization, immunocytochemistry, polymerase chain reaction sequencing, gastric or duodenal tissues from 4 22 patients (18%) documented disease demonstrated both HSV-1 acid sequences proteins. was found restricted clusters cells near margin but absent at sites to lesion. Several such HSV-1-infected also contained cholecystokinin. These cholecystokinin-containing are neuroendocrine origin receive contact vagal nerve. Campylobacter pylori bacteria were not three four harbored Further, none tissue samples 33 undergoing clinical evaluation, having no evidence had materials. Thus, our data suggest a subset raise possibility some ulcers caused by this virus.
