摘要: A method of using fluorinated-nanostructured POSS chemicals as alloying agents for the reinforcement polymer microstructures, including coils, domains, chains, and segments, at molecular level. Because their tailorable compatibility with nonfluorinated polymers, nanostructured can be readily selectively incorporated into polymers by direct blending processes. The incorporation a chemical favorably impacts multitude physical properties. Properties most improved are surface properties, such lubricity, contact angle, water repellency, deicing, tension, abrasion resistance. Improved properties may useful applications anti-icing surfaces, non-wetting low friction self cleaning. Other include time dependent mechanical thermal heat distortion, creep, compression set, shrinkage, modulus, hardness biological compatibility. In addition to other improved, lower conductivity, dielectric fire resistance, gas permeability separation. These in number applications, space-survivable materials seals, gaskets, cosmetics, personal care.
