摘要: Summary RA175, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, plays an important role in cell adhesion, and RA175 gene-deficient mice (RA175−/−) show oligoastheno-teratozoospermia. To understand function RA175, location testis morphological features its spermatogenic cells RA175−/− were investigated. Immunohistochemical studies revealed that immunoreactivity was observed on surface at specific stages. A strong reaction detected from type spermatogonia to pachytene spermatocytes stage IV step 6 16 spermatids during spermatogenesis. From VI 4 spermatids, not by enzyme-labelled antibody method faintly indirect immunofluorescence method. Abnormal vacuoles seminiferous epithelium, showing exfoliation germ cells, ultrastructural abnormality elongate testes. Other members superfamily such as basigin, nectin-2 nectin-3, which have spermatogenesis, immunohistochemically testis. These observations indicate unique expression pattern provide clues regarding mechanism male infertility
