摘要: Abstract Involvement of IgE antibody in macrophage cytotoxicity against Schistosoma mansoni schistosomula suggests a cytophilic interaction this class with the membrane macrophages. Peroxidase-labeled monoclonal protein was used to investigate IgE-macrophage rat. Benzidine-aggregated rat bound surface peritoneal macrophages under experimental conditions, preventing endocytosis labeled aggregates. Binding inhibited by preincubation unlabeled (aggregated). When unaggregated used, labeling surface, even when inhibited, also observed at 37 °C but not 4 °C. This result indicated different binding characteristics than reported for IgG. Radiolabeled (deaggregated ultracentrifugation after labeling) maximum between 10 and 20 min progressive shedding thereafter, whereas no change radioactivity or IgE. bovine serum albumin as control did interact significantly both temperatures these conditions. The use ϵ-mono-specific rabbit anti-rat allowed identification on from rats infected S. .
