摘要: Abstract Un-doped and Ni-doped cadmium sulphide (Ni–CdS) thin films were prepared by spray pyrolysis technique using perfume atomizer, from aqueous solution of hydrated chloride (CdCl2⋅H2O) thiourea (CS(NH2)2 as sources sulphur ions respectively. We used hexahydrated nickel (NiCl2⋅6H2O) the dopant. The deposited on heated amorphous glass substrates at 400 °C. effect [Ni]/[Cd] ratio structural, morphological, optical electrical properties these was investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies revealed that all (un-doped CdS) polycrystalline with hexagonal structure exhibited [1 0 1] preferential orientation. scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images showed a dense surface composed crystallites whose average size decreases when increases. study highly transparent. transmittance in visible region varies between 70% 85%, depending dopant concentration. film obtained equal to 4 at.% Ni minimum resistivity 1.3 × 105 Ω cm room temperature.
