摘要: Using immunocytochemical methods, CSF lymphocyte subpopulations were examined in different neurologic disorders associated with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. pleocytosis was observed asymptomatic neurologically normal subjects, patients aseptic meningitis, and those inflammatory demyelinating neuropathies, but infrequently subjects AIDS dementia complex. The distribution of HIV-infected differed from control showing decreases percentages T helper (CD4) cells increases suppressor (CD8) cells. Peripheral blood CD4: CD8 ratios inverted all the studied. In disorders, changes composition mononuclear paralleled alterations peripheral complex, there a relationship between severity CD4 proportions.
