摘要: Abstract This exploratory study examined parenting and child problem behavior differences between families of preschoolers with without mild handicapping conditions. Sixty-five handicaps were compared sixty nonhandicapped children by means the Parent Behavior Checklist Child Checklist. The results indicated that mothers mildly handicapped sample had lower developmental expectations for their than did sample. Parents rated as displaying higher levels internalizing total problems parents preschoolers. Increases in parental discipline related to increases parents' ratings children's externalizing all families. implications these findings school psychologists relative developing individualized family service plans are discussed.
