摘要: This article analyzes the influence of mechanical ball milling parameters on processed aluminum bronze chips in order to increase efficiency this process terms particles' size reduction. Also evaluated is addition vanadium carbide (VC) response, along with its microstructure and magnetic properties. The experiments have been carried out accordance DOE design methodology. After machined, residues can still be reused produce composites through powder metallurgy routes, preserving good properties without onus environment. study aims characterize powders resulting from processes, identifying influential parameters, verify soft magnetization behavior. morphologies particle sizes underwent scanning electron microscopy (SEM), coupled energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) laser diffraction analyses, respectively, phase identification via X-ray (XRD). Moreover, saturation (Ms), remanent (Mr), coercivity (Hc), remanence-to-saturation ratio (Mr/Ms) were determined hysteresis curves obtained a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Results indicate that % VC time are main improve obtain submicrometric particles almost 800 times smaller than initial chips. process, presented certain amorphization, decrease about 24% Ms an elevation 81% Hc, both compared as cast material. Mr/Ms indicates slight conservation magnetization.
