摘要: Internet access networks in general and wireless mesh particular, are the bottleneck of today's communication consequently most strongly responsible for determining user satisfaction. The limited bandwidth fact that network often used as mere bit pipes however unfavorable users' quality experience (QoE). lack application-specific service guarantees is especially inadequate face an increasing degree heterogeneity applications their individual requirements. Application resource management, Aquarema short, addresses this challenge by enabling application specific management thereby improves QoE. This achieved interaction comfort (AC) monitoring tools, running at clients, a advisor which may trigger different tools. AC quantifies how well enables prediction experience, allowing to act upon imminent QoE degradation. We demonstrate appeal example YouTube video streaming congested IEEE 802.11 based testbed where AC-aware traffic shaping successful playback.
