摘要: Disasters and climate change have significant implications for human health worldwide. Both the climate-sensitive hazards that result in disasters, are discussed terms of direct indirect impacts on health. A growing body literature has argued need to link disaster risk reduction adaptation. However, there is limited articulation commonalities between these impacts. Understanding shared pathways an important starting point developing joint strategies adapting to, reducing, risks. Therefore, this article discusses common aspects risks disasters. Based discussion a theoretical framework presented understanding commonalities. As such, hopes extend current impact frameworks provide platform further research exploring opportunities linked adaptation strategies.
