Efficient expression of green fluorescent protein (GFP) mediated by a chimeric promoter in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii

摘要: To improve the expression efficiency of exogenous genes in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, a high efficient vector was constructed. Green fluorescent protein (GFP) expressed C. reinhardtii under control promoters: RBCS2 and HSP70A-RBCS2. Efficiency transformation were compared between two transgenic algae: mediated strain Tran-I HSP70A-RBCS2 Tran-II. Results show that could greatly by approximately eightfold RBCS2, GFP Tran-II at least double Tran-I. In addition, threefold increase induced heat shock 40°C. All results demonstrated more than expressing gene reinhardtii.
