摘要: AIMS--The aim of this work was to investigate different surgical options for the repair ocular surface, using various extensions procedure limbal stem cell allotransplantation. METHODS/RESULTS--Straightforward lamellar transplantation performed in one patient with contact lens induced failure. A second a neoplastic corneal lesion underwent allotransplantation, followed later by which 360 degrees limbus and entire surface transplanted. third who had suffered extensive chemical burns treated penetrating keratoplasty restore central clarity, allograft comprising annulus peripheral cornea surface. fourth long standing, chronic trachomatous eye disease allotransplantation upper lid tarsal plate conjunctiva, reconstruction fornix. Finally, child Goldenhar9s syndrome medial fornix autologous buccal mucosa, conjunctival allograft. stable has been achieved each case there have no obvious rejection episodes. CONCLUSION--Limbal can be extended engraftment superficial cornea, limbus, patients range pathologies. We described management five cases demonstrate potential technique, but raise questions still need explored.
