摘要: Due to outstanding physicochemical properties, ceramics are key engineering materials in many industrial domains. The evaluation of the damage created employed radiative media is a challenging problem for electronic, space, and nuclear industries. In this latter field, can be used as immobilization forms radioactive wastes, inert fuel matrices actinide transmutation, cladding gas-cooled fission reactors, structural components fusion reactors. Information on radiation stability may obtained by simulating different types interactions involved during slowing down energetic particles with ion beams delivered various accelerators. This paper presents review effects occurring ceramics, an emphasis recent results concerning accumulation processes. Energetic ions KeV-GeV range explore collision (at low energy) electronic excitation high regimes. recovery ballistic collisions (SHIBIEC process) also addressed.
