摘要: Abstract Background The complex architecture of the midface renders diagnosing and treating fractures challenging, especially for young patients who present additional risk suffering growth development deficiencies, which is to be avoided at all costs. Objectives This study sought characterize pediatric mid-facial considering possible complications. Methods Between September 2008 2018, data was collected on inpatients aged Results In total, 31 were examined; 20 boys. most common cause injury road traffic accident (41.9%). Orbital floor fracture type (58.1%). 54.8% cases, surgery performed. Conclusion incidence complications associated with low (n = 7), requiring treatment in only three cases (orthodontic, ophthalmological).
